A benefit for Bethesda Elementary School & Bethesda Regional Library.
The Edgemoor Citizens Association - a neighborhood association representing residents of a neighborhood immediately adjacent to downtown Bethesda - is devoting the proceeds of the 2008 Edgemoor Classic 5K to Bethesda Elementary School and the Bethesda Regional Library. These funds will help to ensure that our childrepon have safe and enjoyable places to play and study, and that the school and library remain beautiful community focal points and resources.

| The 2008 Edgemoor Classic 5K will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 8:00 am. The start & finish is at Bethesda Elementary School, entrance on Arlington Road between Wilson and Edgemoor Lanes. Certified 5K course winds through the lovely neighborhood of Edgemoor and Bradley Hills. Timing by Montgomery County Road Runners. USATF rules prohibit wheels (baby strollers, babyjoggers, bikes, roller blades, etc.), pets, and headphones on the course.
Registration Fee
$15 for adults through Oct. 26; $20 from October 27 through Race Day. $10 for kids ages 18 and under. Race Day registration will be from 6:30-7:50am at Bethesda Elementary School. Includes t-shirt!

Don't want to run? You can still get an awesome t-shirt! $10 for adults and $7 for kids (use race application to order; shirts will be available at the November 1 packet pick-up or on Race Day).
Packet Pickup
Saturday, November 1 at Bethesda Elementary School from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Awards & Prizes
Prizes to top three male and female overall finishers, and top male and female finisher in the following age groups: Bethesda Elementary student; Other Elementary student; Middle School student; High School student; 40-44;45-49; 50-59; and 60&over (no duplication of prizes). Valuable gift certificates for all runners, as well as a post-race raffle of great prizes donated by local businesses.
