A benefit for Bethesda Elementary School & Bethesda Regional Library
The 17th annual running of the Edgemoor Classic 5K has been postponed until 2017! Continued construction on our neighborhood streets makes it impossible to provide a safe course for our participants again this year.
Over the years, the Edgemoor Citizens Association - a neighborhood association representing residents of a neighborhood immediately adjacent to downtown Bethesda - has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit Bethesda Elementary School and the Bethesda Regional Library. These funds help to ensure that our children have safe and enjoyable places to play and study, and that the school and library remain beautiful community focal points and resources.
There will be no Edgemoor Classic 5K this year. See you in 2017!
The start & finish is at Bethesda Elementary School, entrance on Arlington Road between Wilson and Edgemoor Lanes. Certified 5K course winds through the lovely neighborhood of Edgemoor and Bradley Hills. Chip timing! Race management services by Montgomery County Road Runners. USATF rules prohibit wheels (baby strollers, babyjoggers, bikes, roller blades, etc.), pets, and headphones on the course.
$20 for adults; $10 for kids ages 18 and under. $25 for adults; $10 for kids on Race Day. Race Day registration will be from 7:15-8:25am at Bethesda Elementary School. Includes great race t-shirt!
Don't want to run? You can still get an awesome t-shirt! $10 for adults and $8.00 for kids (use race application to order; shirts will be available at the November 1 packet pick-up or on Race Day).
Saturday at Bethesda Elementary School from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
